Hi, I have an older imac late 2009 with a faulty logic board and I want to upgrade with a new logic board from a mid 2011 system. I think it can fit, but, I want to know what parts I must change to get work inside the iMac case. Sorry for my poor english I’m french Thank you Update (09/16/2018) ok finally i made a project to get work a motherboard pc inside to make a hackintosh. i need pin out for left and right speakers to get work in usb can anyone think it is possible? thanks
Sorry to say the issue is all of the connecting pieces inside would also need to be replaced as well. In addition the mountings & ports are laid out differently. At that point it would just be cheaper to just buy a used 2011 system.
