Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2013) Logic board with newer model like 2015 or 2016. Do you know if thats compatible? Will my other components support the logic board? and If its possible that what logic board would you recommend? Thanks alot for your help!
The 2013 MacBook Air seems to have the same specs for the battery, screen and inclosure compare to the 2015 model. theoretically, it could be possible. But to be Shure, you should verify that the Battery and Screen connector are exactly the same on 2013 logic board and 2015. Even with that, I don’t know if there is any software security to prevent swapping logic board.
