Chosen Solution
I recently replaced the SATA cable, which solved the previous problem I’d been having (the macbook operating unusably slow and occasionally not finding an OS). Now, the SATA’s LED seems to have gone out, and, every few minutes, I’m getting undesired clicks and laggy, uncontrolled movements, on the trackpad, for which clicking forcefully and repetitively in the corners seems to eventually solve. Anyone seen this issue, before? EDIT: Battery performance:
There is no LED on the SATA cable its self. Here an image of the cable:
The topmost connector is for the drive (SATA) the smaller leg to the left is the lid sensor (Hall Effect transistor) and the other end connects to the logic board.
