There’s an unused internal connector on the MacBook Air 2013 logic board, see picture. What’s the use of this connector?
cerberusss, that is reference designator J5100. It is used as LPC+SPI Debug Connector. Definition for those are Low pin count(LPC) Serial peripheral interface(SPI). Looks like an Apple way to debug the logic board. Hope this helps, good luck.
this connector is used to reset or reprogram the EFI bios chip
it’s Jtag… Destroy it… its to program the board… Apple uses it.
