I bought an Asus laptop 1.5 years ago. Intel i3 8th Gen procesor, 4GB ram, 2GB Intel 920MX Graphics and all that was a total waste of money. It hangs all time and takes a lot of time to boot up(since the time i bought - But now its terrible). All its disk have a less space used.

Is it a good idea to format it? or Should i prefer RAM Upgrade? Which is better??

with Asus i can say i have had the same issues But i say there is a fix if you Just Know How to apply that. Lets Give it a Try - Uninstall Any Non essentials software from your computer.Remove asus GiftBox That may install Ton of software by tricking you saying yes to allCheck Your task manager & REMOVE/STOP any Unwanted program From Startup that may have high impact on your system startup

Open Start Menu and find the Control Panel. Click on it. Here in the Control Panel, go to the Search field at the top-right of the window and type Performance. Now hit Enter.Now find Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows.Go to the Advanced tab and click on Change in the Virtual Memory section.Now untick the option “Automatically manage paging file size for all drives.”Select the default C: drive where Windows 10 is installed and then choose Custom Size. Then change Initial Size and Maximum Size to the recommended values by Windows 10 (given below).Now untick the option “Automatically manage paging file size for all drives.”Select the default C: drive where Windows 10 is installed and then choose Custom Size.
