pretty much the title. my screen is cracked, but that wasnt an issue until a tiny shard came off on the bottom right corner and now my screen is completely unresponsive. do i just need to get a new screen entirely?
@natu_xatuu, When a cracked screen (that has worked) stops working, it has to be replaced. Luckily, the process isn’t all that hard, and iFixit has a guide on how to do it. You can also buy the screen from iFixit ;). The process of replacing the screen is usually done in under an hour, depending on you previous repair knowledge. PS! In order to retain TrueTone, you will need a programmer like fex QianLi iCopy
Yes, replacing the screen will fix it. No True Tone unless a shop does it but some cheaper screens can’t be programmed anyway.
