I recently dropped my iPhone 5s and now the left half of my screen will not register any sort of touch. My passcode is 1118, so I am completely unable to tap any of the 3 “ones” necessary to unlock the phone. My Touch-ID also will not work because I restarted my phone hoping that would fix it. I am trying to sync my contacts and photos from this phone onto an iPhone 5c, but my computer is telling me that I must unlock my phone before I can do so. Is there any way I can get this phone to sync to the new phone, or will I have to start completely clean without any of my old apps, contacts, or photos?
If your device is set to backup your phone to iCloud automatically, you should be to restore it to a new iPhone in an almost exact state of the old phone prior to it breaking.
