Hi, Is the answering machine turned on? Does the answering machine answer an incoming call if you don’t use the handset to answer the call i.e. can you hear the machine’s pre recorded answer message when calling your phone number from another phone? Here’s the user guide for the phone. Go to p.20 to see how to set up the answer machine service in the phone.
