suddenly got message-sorry! unfortunately google search has stopped. can no longer text
I called Virgin Mobile 888-322-1122 and they said it was a google problem and gave me a number to call that did not work right. The message appears every three seconds on my phone and I cannot do anything. Been happening for over a day now. I have managed to disable tons of things but to no avail. Update (10/02/2015) ok, I got it fixed, I have an LG Optimus – I went to settings, Apps, scrolled to the right to All heading, scrolled down to find Google Search and did “clear data”. Turned off phone and turned it back on.
I had this problem also, if you go into settings and languages and uncheck google voice it will fix the problem.

After clearing the data turn phone OFF !!! Take out the battery wait about a minute then put it back in an turn it on.

on my lg phone this is how it was corrected, go to settings, then to language & input, and un check the google voice typing and voila done
