My Asus Notebook Model UX305F Windows 8 (not included on the list of models) gives a series of undeleteable dots in the password box on boot up. Usually turning off and on a couple of times fixes it, but what is going on, and how do I stop it please?
It is possible that your CMOS battery is either low or dead. Test the battery, and replace if it is low or dead, or if you aren’t sure about its condition.
