Well it does sound like you’ve done your self in here. At this point you’ll need to rebuild your disk. Lets first review some differences Between Sierra (HFS+) and the newer High Sierra & Mojave (APFS) file systems. Both sit on top of GUID formatted volume. Unlike HFS+ which can only has a single monolithic structure on top of the GUID Volume, APFS uses ‘Containers’ which allows it to have multiple structures ‘Volumes’ within the flat GUID partition. So the ‘Device Volume’ disk0s2 is one of these volumes. The ‘Device Volume’ Macintosh HD was deleted from what I gather. And it sounds like the recovery partition is also damaged. So we need to create a bootable OS installer USB Thumb drive following this guide How to create a bootable Mojave installer drive If you want to get back to Mojave. Frankly, I really recommend you stick with Sierra How to create a bootable macOS Sierra installer drive The older SATA based systems run better with the older HFS+ file system.
