A friend of mine recently passed away and I have his eMachines desktop. I am trying to do a factory reset but I can’t get past the password and I do not know what his password was.. please help
You could do a fresh install, assuming you have the product key. If it is running windows 7, use this link for instructions: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software… For windows 10, use this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software… You’ll need another functioning computer to use this. If you don’t think you can do this there are other options.
