Hi, got an issue with the UE46D8000. The screen is turning on automatically when connected to power, but after the Samsung logo shows it clicks and turns off. I’ve replaced the powerboard, and it still doing the same thing. The leds still flash with the main board disconnected. With the led array disconnected, but the main board connected the relay can still be heard clicking. Am I looking at a dud power supply? The leds seem to only light across the centre of the TV, with the top and bottom remaining dark. Not sure how may led bars are meant to be on this model. Any help would be appreciated. Would be a shame to waste a TV that might be fixable.

@fireblade899 If by this “The leds still flash with the main board disconnected. With the led array disconnected, but the main board connected the relay can still be heard clicking“ you are referring to the backlight LED’s than it could be the power board (f you would not have already replace it) but you have to test it. Check the voltages on the backlight LED connectors on your power board. You can disconnect the backlight strips for the test. See if the voltage remains stable and let us know what it is. Make sure you have a meter that is set high enough on the DC voltage side. Go with something in the 400V range. Measure with the backlight LED connected and then disconnected. This “The leds seem to only light across the centre of the TV, with the top and bottom remaining dark” makes it more of a backlight LED strip issue which, given the symptoms and given it’s a Samsung, is very highly likely.
