5 months ago the leds were replaces by an engineer (thankfully paid for by insurance) but suddenly one evening recently a dark shadow appeared in the corner. An engineer has been out and is highly confused by the cause so has gone ahead and ordered a panel just in case its that. All the led bulbs were working in perfect order. It happens on all sources so isn’t to do with cables. The dark spot isn’t visible on all light spectrums, strangely the most obvious tends to be on the Chromecasts grey colour when setting it up. I was watching The Walking Dead when I first noticed it, so apologies for what on the screen in some of the photos!! I just don’t want to go through months of parts being replaced in hopes of finding the cause, or suddenly having the whole screen go, so any ideas on what could be going on would be greatly appreciated!
i mean it sounds like you have the insurance on it. if you go ahead and try to do stuff on your own it might void it. I’d contact them and make sure you can even mess with it without voiding anything before you get advice on replacing stuff ya know? to be honest it looks like it would be a hard ware thing since its only in that one section of the screen and only for certain colors.
