Chosen Solution
My tablet (model: GT-P7500) runs Android version 4.0.4. Touching the twitter shortcut results in a blank screen for about 30 seconds before it closes and reverts back to the main screen. I have deleted and reloaded Twitter for Android twice but the problem persists.
If there is no other apps that reacts this way I would suggest that you contact the twitter techsupport. Try restart on phone as well i f you didn’t try that.
I too have same issue, anyone knows any workaround.
