Hello

looking for some help identifying two components so I can try and salvage my hard drive, the hard drive is a Samsung BF41- 00086A I believe the chip on the right is a TVS but I don’t know enough to find out which one and where to get a replacement. The left component I believe is blown also but I have no clue as to what it maybe. Any help would be much appreciated Thank you

@andy200 the component on the right is definitely a diode. You should get away with replacing it with a general purpose Zener diode rated at 5,6v. The component on the left will be a bit tough and it looks like either a resistor or an inductor. Replace the diode and see what you drive does. If nothing else you can always get a complete replacement PCB to continue to use your HDD.
