I have a Samsung UN55HU9000FXZA and when its turned on the white light turns on and then the red light starts to blink a few times and it turns off. This with a black screen. All the boards look good. I did notice that when it was working a few seconds after it was on the image blinked. Can you help. Thanks. Email oliveras.melquiades12@gmail.com
The blinking red light is an indicator of the problem. When you attempt to turn on the set, count the blinks and update this with that count. This will indicate the likely source of the problem. In many cases, there are defective capacitors in the main power supply that cause power problems. These are detected by internal safety circuits and result in the shutdown. These same circuits will generate the blink code that you are seeing. Dan
