Panasonic Th50pv60a TV. Has been unused for 3 years, previously worked fine. Tried a hars reset and failed. Removed backcover but too novice to isolate the problem.
Hi @tikitembo , When you say no light do you mean the TV’s red standby power light? Did you prove that the power outlet that the TV is connected to is working? Try plugging in a hair dryer and check if that works OK. If the TV is connected to a powerstrip (powerboard) try connecting it directly to the wall outlet and check. Do you have a DMM (digital multimeter) and know how to safely use it when testing for DC voltage when there is exposed lethal AC voltage present on the same board? If so, then you need to first prove that there is mains AC voltage appearing on the power board and then check if the DC Standby voltage is being produced by the power board. It is the Standby voltage that turns on the red power light. If not then don’t try as you can injure yourself and cause more damage to the TV than what is already there.
