Chosen Solution
My tv was working totally fine this morning and then it suddenly kept turning it’s self on and off. I unplugged it and cleaned out any dust etc, changed the controller batteries too. I have left it unplugged for a few hours and now when it turns on and I try to use the controller it will turn off as soon as any button is pressed. Can anyone shed some light? This is the exact model I have: Panasonic TX-L42ET60B 42" Smart VIERA LED TV
@ayshapoppy let’s start off with trying to do a reset. Unplug everything from the back of your TV. Unplug the TV. Press and hold in the on/off switch. Press and hold the red button on the handset for 30 seconds. This will reset the PANASONIC TV. … Keep pressing the power button for another 60 seconds. After that connect only one input device. Something like a DVD player, BR player or even a game console. Then plug your TV in and try to start see if that changed anything.
