TV is a Vizio M65-F0, power board is fsp288-2pz03. The behavior I’m seeing is as follows: TV power cycled during a storm i think, possible power surge. TV would not turn back on. Removed TV and had it sitting for a few days before I had the chance to look at it further. I plugged it in and it worked fine. TV could be power cycled and would still come back on. I then removed the plug and moved the TV, when i plugged it back in it would not start - no start sequence whatsoever. Let it sit unplugged for a few hours again, plugged it in and it was working properly. Repeated the cycle, same failure. basically, the TV works after being unplugged for awhile and then plugging it in, but if power is removed after that point the TV needs to sit unplugged for awhile before it will start. Any thoughts on this? I thought about flashing the firmware but could not download that from the vizio site, they told me it was up to date and wouldn’t give me access to the .zip.
Can you take the back off the TV and check for any leaky or bulged capacitors? I have attached a picture for reference.
