So I was watching my tv and hit the Netflix button on the remote and my tv shut off and a red light in the corner started blinking. I turned it off and back on and it will sound like it is about to turn on but and the screen flickers but then it shuts down again and goes back to the blinking red light. I have tried holding the power button for 60seconds on and off with no success as well as the power button with the volume button. Any thoughts? Please help? Thankyou so much!
@shenanigans13 if this only happens on Netflix, then it is not a TV issue. You will have to test all the other inputs as well, do not rely on just one. You also need to let us know if there is a specific number of blinks or if it blinks continous with a ~2sec pause between blinks. That would be a 1-blink error code. That is 1 blink STV 5v sense DG board which would be the A-bard (main board) On this series it could also be a bad LED (strip) that does not come on and prevents your TV from starting. Measure the voltages on your connectors as well as the high voltage (74V) going to the LED’s.
