Chosen Solution
The red dot - bottom right - is solid. I turn on my Samsung Smart TV; model UN46H6201AFXZA, using the remote. The unit starts to power up, the red dot begins to flash on and off. I see the Smart TV logo appear. The screen transitions to the screen size information top left, then abruptly turns off. The red dot is off. Someone was messing around with the remote just prior to this happening. Not sure if that is the cause. Does this now with both the Direct TV remote and the SmartTV remote. When powering it up, and to troubleshoot, I’ve selected the source button to briefly see the settings are still on the HDMI setting - before it shuts down - so it should be getting a signal. Any ideas?
