Television went bad after a surge. I’m always one to try to repair things. At first the unit was receiving no power at all. I decided to test the fuse with my multimeter and it seemed functioning. Just to eliminate the power board, I decided to replace it. After replacing it, still nothing. At that point I decided to replace the mainboard as well. Where I’m at now: Mainboard & Powerboard replacedBacklight comes on then off then on then off, it keeps doing this while the red light flashes. If I don’t kill the power it doesn’t stop and it seems to be doing it randomly. I will attach some pictures. No sound can be heard and any input from the original remote does nothing. I’m thinking it could be a tcon board but I don’t see one, so I’m assuming it is built into the mainboard or it’s connected to one of the white ribbon cables (to me it looks like those go directly to the panel). Could it be the mainboard purchased (used) is faulty? Or could it be a faulty panel (when the backlight is on a see no damage on the front)? My model is: UN65MU800FXZA

Just in case anyone is curious, I just forgot to connect the one connect.
