my t v remote dipped into my 1 st cup of joe..twice..new batteries, completely drained and wiped..bo juice.. what now ?
Use this guide to clean it after you have taken it apart, take picture so you know how to put it back together: Electronics Water Damage
Take apart dry put in new batteries
Take it apart (remember how you do it), wash in soapy water, rinse, dry excess with paper towel, dry with hair dryer. Re-assemble and replace batteries. There are only four parts to my remote including the circuit board (which is sealed). The other three are two rubber mats with numbers and icons on them and an overlay which must be placed back exactly like it was removed. Use camera as you go through the disassembling so you have photos to help remember.
