My tv plays for about an hour then kicks off and on and sometimes its completely dead then when i unplug it and leave it for a day or so and plug it in again then it comes on and maybe plays 10 min and kicks off ,tested power supply board and seems fine can it be the switch?
Try a different power cable and wall outletMove power cable slightly after the TV turns off to see if there is a problem with the power connectorFeel the back of the TV right when it shuts off to see if it is overheating
Jp De Ridder what exact model is your TV? How did you check the power board? What else did you check? Remember that your power supply just supply the voltages needed by your TV whereas the main board controls the when and where the power goes. This sounds like a bad IC on that board. Unlikely that this is the switch.
