Chosen Solution
The picture on my team randomly has started to go white or get washed out after about a minute or two of powering on. The model is a Samsung 65MU8000. I have tried testing the cables, everything works as it was/should. I have tried resetting the TV back to factory settings as well…no luck! Anyone have any ideas or experienced this before and know of a solution?
brandon napolitano …. this is a tcon board issue. typically caused by a failed ic chip. you can replace the board, or if you have soldering tools and experience, post a picture of your tcon board and board number and we can help locate the chip needing to be replaced. tcons are usually inexpensive, so if youre not wanting to fool with it, just purchase one.
