Heard loud sharp pop, screen went completely dead. Cannot turn on, no lights no sound. Waited then cracked the back. Can see obvious damage as shown in photos. I cannot locate a blown fuse. I do have a multimeter available I do not know what the burned looking items are, how to remove them (other than with pliers?) or where to get them to replace them. Please help! Thank you in advance!

The worst-hit component is Q9100, a snubbed cap (not a fuse!). That will need to be replaced. The resistor next to it should be still fine. Don’t remove the cap with pliers, as that can cause serious damage. You will need to desolder it (a normal iron will work fine. You might be able to find a replacement on DigiKey. Also, if that is a power supply board, be extremely careful, as they can be dangerous to work on.
