Hi I have a baird 50in uhd TV only used for a couple of months, when I go to turn on the the TV I have a brief flash of the baird logo then TV looks like to turn off, I have looked at the compositors on the board but looks to be fine any other ideas, don’t mind the device listed as it wasn’t listed in there Update (10/10/2022) Hi The model is Baird Model number : TI5011DLEDDS It all turns off Update (10/10/2022) The image of the board
@sonnyd we got a lot going on here. So, for now you have the power LED coming on Then your picture briefly flickers and goes dark, but you do have sound. Is that correct? If so, then the issue could be related to your backlight. Start with that first. Just like @geirandersen already asked of you, let’s try this. We are making the assumption that your power LED is on. Set your TV to a channel where you have sound but no image. Now darken the room, use a flashlight and angle it against the screen with the TV on. See if you can make out shadows or shapes (like something that may correspond the audio). If you do, then it is your backlight that has failed (common issue are failed backlight LED strips). If you do not see anything, unplug your set and remove the back. Then visually check the boards for any obvious damage like charred, missing or damaged components. It is possible that this is a T-con board issue if it is not the backlight. However, most TV’s will create a fault blink code and shut down with a failed board.
