I have a Samsung. model # un60h6203af. We got hit by hurricane Florence the power went out on a Friday I hooked up my wielder/generator Monday am. Well my tv starts turning on and off constantly so I unplug it let it set a minute plunge it back up. The plung arcks and the tv keeps flickering is my tv shot? Or is it a reasonable cost to fix it? Or do I need to buy a new tv if warranty is out dated
@redman86 first of glad you are okay and hope your damage is only the TV. The arcing at the plug and the on/off sounds like a power board issue. I would suggest that you remove the back of your set and take a look at the boards. Post some pictures of those with your question. that way we can see what you see. Adding images to an existing question Are you still running on generator power or are you back up on public utility? Regardless of what it is, for as long as the panel is okay, it can be fixed.
