How Do you trouble shoot when No Power? Is there a reset techique? The Model No. 32 MD 350 / F7 MADE BY FUNAI CORPORATION

Hi @anncur07 , Basic troubleshooting requires that you have a DMM (digital multimeter) and know how to use it safely when testing where lethal AC voltage is present or know someone who does. By No Power I assume that you mean that the TV’s red standby power light is not on, is this correct? First make sure that the wall power outlet that the TV is connected to is working by plugging in another appliance e.g. a hair dryer. If the TV is connected to a powerboard (powerstrip?) disconnect it from the powerboard and plug directly into the wall outlet and check. If still no good, disconnect the power from the TV and remove the back cover and check if the fuse mounted on the power board (board where the power cord connects to in the TV) is OK. Usually you cannot tell by just looking so use the DMM’s Ohmmeter function to test the fuse to make sure that it is OK i.e. has continuity or tests short circuit. If the fuse is blown usually its rating is marked on the board next to where it is mounted. If it mentions T in the rating e.g. T5A 250V then ensure that you get a 5Amp 250 V slow blow fuse (T = timed) as a standard fuse with the same rating will blow immediately that the power is connected due to the high inrush current whereas a slow blow fuse won’t. If the fuse is OK then you will have to check if the correct value standby voltage is being supplied by the power board to the mainboard. To do this the power will have to be reconnected to the TV Be safety aware if you decide to do this as there is exposed lethal AC voltage on the power board near to where you will most probably have to test for the standby voltage. Also check for any other obviously damaged or heat stressed components on the boards as they may give a clue as to what is wrong. If you can’t see any or are not quite sure post some close up images of the power board back here. Here’s how to do this on ifixit. Adding images to an existing question
