Hello, I have a Samsung UN49KU6500F TV with a flickering issue. Upon plugging in the TV, the Smart TV logo appears and nearly instantly disappears. This issue cycles until the TV is unplugged. I removed the back panel and attempted some troubleshooting: When the mainboard is unplugged and the TV is turned on, the backlight continuously flashes (as seen through the holes). When the backlight is unplugged and the TV is turned on, the TV continues to turn on and off. The optical port red light on the mainboard flashes on/off so I believe the TV is not staying on. I have taken some photos of the components. My guess is that the powerboard is at fault, so I have taken detailed photos of it for anyone to help me troubleshoot. Any help would be much appreciated!
@yashpatel it could be the power board but most likely will be a bad backlight. Measure the voltages going from your power board to the backlight LED and see if that remains constant while the backlight flashes. Let us know what you find out.
