I have a Samsung Model code UN60J6200AFXZC Version No NS02. Today my daughter was watching TV, she said the screen went black but still sound. She turned it off and then back on and it will not turn back on. The red light just comes on or sometimes flashes etc. I have not toke it apart yet, before I do I wanted to see if anyone has had the same issue and or can help :) Thanks, Rob
This sounds like the back light has failed initially. Since the set won’t turn on now, it points to the power supply having a problem that initially effected the power to the back light and now effects the entire TV. You state that the red light flashes. Is there a pattern to this? I would expect to see a repeated pattern of a number of “blinks”. This would be a code telling the likely problem. Please post the blink count. Also, if you can remove the back cover, post photos of each of the boards. Many power related problems can be easily seen on the boards. Dan
