Chosen Solution
I have 6 yr old lg 42cs410-tb. I turned it on and a loud pop came from the back with a strong electrical burning. The red light still shows but no pic or sound. I have removed the back and no visible burning. Pics attached. Thanks
Not sure where your pictures went….Anyhow this sounds like something on your powerboard went up in smoke. Could be some capacitors but I have seen and smelled failed rectifiers that are doing the same thing. We‘d have to see your boards to give you a more precise answer.
