Chosen Solution
My son has a headset for his Xbox one. Wire bent too much near the Jack, now audio is heard cutting In and out. I believe they are “turtle beach recon 50x”, the cheaper ones at Wal-Mart that about $30-$40. Anyway what kind of Jack do I need to replace it ? I know obviously it’s a 3.5mm and I believe 4 poles but I’m not sure. Help please ?
do you know how to solder? if you do i suggest you open up the broken headphone side and be careful and resolder the port connections
