i start my laptop up and as soon as it goes to the windows startup it shuts off.
Based off of the description you’ve given me, here are some quick solutions you can try. (Keep the charger plugged in for all of these unless specified otherwise. Power CycleUnplug the battery and the charger. Hold the power button for 30 seconds. Plug the battery and charger back in, and see if it boots. If not, move on.Windows CorruptionWindows constantly gets corrupted, try a fresh install and see if it still crashes. If so, move on.HDD FailureYou hard drive could be dying, try booting to a windows USB and seeing if it still powers off. If it doesn’t, replace the hard drive. If it does, move on.RAM IssueTry using a different RAM stick and see if the problem still persists. If it does, move on.BIOS ResetStart the computer and mash the “delete” key on your computer until the BIOS shows up. (If the computer shuts down while in BIOS, move onto the next step). Reset the BIOS to defaults by navigating through the BIOS to the save section and select the option similar to “Revert to default and save” If the problem persists, move on.Motherboard IssueIf the computer shuts down in BIOS as well, It’s likely an issue with the CPU or Motherboard, in which case you will want to replace the motherboard. This is the last thing I can think of based on your description.
