Hi I replaced screen on my X and got it programmed for True Tone etc. Now True Tone works perfect but Auto brightness doesn’t. The auto brightness option is there and I can toggle it but it does either dim or brighten up when light changes. If I toggle it or turn it off it goes back to middle brightness. anyone any idea? If the brightness sensor is defective can I see it somewhere? Face ID etc. Everything works… thanks in advance.
Is the replacement screen a OLED or LCD replacement? Some very cheap screens do not support brightness adjustment.
