Ok so needed new transmission clutch and u joints changed them all myself and put back together now truck won’t start new battery new starter can her single click when go to start but won’t start can’t figure it out is there way to install wrong I went off YouTube videos but now sure what to do and don’t want to have to take to shop trying to get started
I’ve got an ‘01 Ford Ranger with a standard transmission. I know that if I attempt to start it without holding in the clutch then it will act in a similar fashion. Considering that you just replaced the clutch I would double check all electrical connectors associated just to make sure that when you’re pushing the clutch in the truck actually knows it.
