I replaced the battery about last year and I’m now having issues where it will not charge past around 20% (Somehow I’ve gotten it to get to maybe 27% but nothing any higher) and it sometimes charges a bit more when I constantly plug and unplug the adapter. Do I need to buy a new battery and replace it? or are there some more things I can try testing?
@boydivision it is possible that you have gotten a bad battery since it should definitely last longer than a year. I would go ahead and replace it once more. Maybe getting it from a place with some warranty etc. may help too. Then with the new battery see what it charges up too. There is always a small possibility that this is caused by the power management of your Razer Blade which would require some board repair. Schematics and board views are not always easy to come by. So let’s hope it’s just a bad battery. Replace and re-evaluate.
