I have a phablet with a Trojan (Expense Trojan). It is In-Rom. Security 360 or Malwarebytes cannot revove. I have partitioned/deleted the usb card. I have rebooted to factory resets and it is still there. 360 Security says I may have to Flash the Rom? Root? I am not THAT tech savvy. Hoe can I get that trojan off my phone/tablet? It gains access to presonal info and loads spam apps. Is there someone in Los Angeles I can take it to? Advice? Thanks.
Is this a Chinese tablet that has the built in malware cause a few years ago there were a bunch of them around the spyware is right in the system from the factory and the only way to get rid of it is to have a new rom installed.There are guilds on forums that can lead you through the rom insall but its really easy to brick it if you screw up. I wouldn’t use it for banking or anything that has my identity but its fine to use otherwise. In other words disable the gps give it to your 4 year old and get another tablet . Not a Lenovo hahaha.
UPDATE: I bricked. Tossed in back of drawer never to be used again.
