Chosen Solution
I did the upgrade and had no issues. After putting it all back together I was getting a green led light on the board (I believe it was green) but nothing would happen when I pressed the power button. I figured I must have missed a connector or it was loose so I took everything apart again and rechecked everything. It all looked good, but now I am not getting any lights. I checked the voltage on the power supply board and it appears to be getting good voltages, but still no lights. Any suggestions?
What CPU did you use? Did you check your mounting? I often find people struggle to get the CPU to sit in the socket properly. Also check the sockets pins fo damage.
