Hi I have a thin black transparent line running along the bottom of my tv screen. It’s not straight and it runs with curves in it. It doesn’t affect the tv picture other than when u look down you see it otherwise everything else works fine. Any ideas or help would be appreciated. I have a pic but not sure how to add it. Run your fingernail across the line does it appear to catch? If it does then you have a cracked cover glass if not it could be the polarizer cover glass in the back of the LCD is cracked. In either case the LCD display is damaged. Sadly TV’s are becoming so cheap replacing screens is just not economical. As an example your TV sold here in the states costs around $800 US. If you just bought the TV it might still be covered under warranty.
