I bought a new Mac mini m1. The drive sizes are ridiculously small. I bought a 1tb ssd external drive. How can I transfer my old time machine backup to the external drive. Migration assistant doesn’t have this option
You’ll need to setup your external drive as a bootable drive with Big Sur and then using the Option (⌥) key reboot under it, then you can restore to it! Reference: Mac startup key combinations
