I had to pull out an old computer using windows xp. Is there any way to transfer the photos from my DSC-W830 to it? Nothing I try seems to work and I can not find any programs to download that willl help. Thanks
You won’t need any programs. The operation is simple. Take out the SD card and put it into the computer. You will need a SD card or Memory stick reader. Open windows explorer. Open the SD card or Memory Stick from there. You’ll have to find the correct one. Drag the photos out of that folder then put them where you wish, probably in the pictures folder. Hope this helps!
You need a card reader,then insert the microSD card,then copy the photos on your computer. The normal way to transfer your photos is to pop the SD card , put it in an adapter and put that in your computer to copy the photo across.
