Is there way to see the part number on the trackpads? I have a 2018 trackpad that I wanted to swap with a 2017 I have. Physically it will work size wise and ribbon cable wise but not sure if they are the same parts on the them, don’t want to screw up anything on the boards. Thanks!
Too soon to tell what the part numbers are or if they are interchangeable. Best to just go to an Apple Store and have them fix your system.
