my trackpad is not clicking, it will occasionally work for a little while (up to 30minutes) then stop working. Im not yet able to properly determine circumstances that it works as it sometimes works at startup and sometimes it will start working after a little while. Hasn’t been dropped or anything spilt on the MacBook. just stopped randomly
Unlike the older Trackpad used in the 2014 and older MacBook’s which was mechanical, the Touchpad in your system is strictly electrical! There is no moving switch element. So how do you feel and hear the click action? Its both a taptic engine under the trackpad and the sound from the speaker!
