Hello, Recently I’ve noticed that the trackpad on my MacBook Pro Mid 2012 isn’t responding as well in the lower left corner. You have to either hit it harder to get it to be respond or I’ve that it is really hit and miss where you click on the trackpad for it to register. Does the trackpad need replacing or does it just need taking apart to clean? Never had this with my MacBook Air so a little unsure. Cheers, James
Getting to the trackpad is quite easy! MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2012 Trackpad Replacement I would take it out and carefully clean the edges of the case and the trackpad its self. Whats important is not to over do the cleaner when cleaning the trackpad as the cleaner can seep into the layers which will damage it. Give that a try first.
