Hi! I’ve ran into a problem with trackpad on MacBook Air 13” Mid 13 - once I open the lid everything in my system get like stuck, i cant open anything, then I realised my trackpad sends click signal the whole time and I can’t actually use my computer even with external mouse because it won’t react on clicks. Tracking finger works perfectly fine, multitouch gestures also, keyboard works too. I tried cleaning corners, checked the battery, even removed button from trackpad (metal plate with sticker), and it wont helped. I have no idea how to check what is going on. Do anyone have schematic of this trackpad maybe? Maybe I can measure something or check circuit board elements to find out what is going on? Thanks!

Check to see if the battery is swollen and pressing on the trackpad. MacBook Air 13" Mid 2013 Battery Replacement
