is there an inexpensive fix to get phone sounds back?
Is there a chance the phone is thinking that it has headphones plugged into it? Try plugging some in and then unplugging them. Component replacement is possible, but with a cheap phone possibly not worth it. Local repair shops may say not worth it.
I plugged a set of headphones in and now the sound is working again, it had the little headphones icon on top ,which it just randomly came on .
