My phone got wet in the washer and was able to take it to a facility where they put it in a machine and dried it. The phone powers on and the display is working and so is the back button, home button, and volume control. I cannot type in my password because touchscreen is unresponsive.
Since the phone got wet it could be that the digitizer is defective. It could also be the board. Since the digitizer is together in one piece with the screen I would try another lcd to see if it works. If it does then replace the lcd assembly. If it’s the board you can try to clean it out again.
