Chosen Solution
Hi All, I dropped my phone last night and now the majority of the touchscreen won’t respond ( I can still slide the volume up and down). The phone still lights up, receives texts, makes noises. I can hear something small rattling around inside. I’m going to try to pull my files off after work, but what are my options? Is this fixable? I hate to trash it when everything else seems in working order. Thanks, Amanda PS- Dropped it less than 2 feet. Ugh.
Unfortunately youll have to replace the entire lcd assembly. The digitizer is definitely damaged. Maybe try to reseat the lcd/digitizer cable to see if that helps. I doubt it will.
